YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice.

Website enquiries and contact information. Updated 28 October 2026.

Who we are

Revolutionary I.T. (ABDN) Ltd is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Registered in Scotland, company number SC437161. Registered office: 6 Westburn Square, Inverurie, Scotland, AB51 5RY.

Contact info@revolutionaryit.co.uk or 01224 537171 about this notice or your information.

What we collect and why

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, selected service and message. We use this information to answer your enquiry, discuss a quotation or arrange a survey. Information you provide by phone or email is used for the same purposes. Please do not send passwords, alarm codes or other sensitive system information through the form.

We process information necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, where applicable. For other enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact our business. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting the website from spam and abuse.

Technical information

The hosting service may keep access and security logs, including IP addresses, request times and browser information. The form uses a short-lived security token, hashed connection and email identifiers, and submission timestamps to limit abuse. It does not store enquiry text in a website database.

Who handles the information

Enquiries are sent to our business mailbox. Our website hosting provider and Microsoft 365 email service process information to provide hosting and email. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. We do not use this form to subscribe you to marketing.

Service providers may process information outside the UK under their service arrangements. You can contact us for details of the providers, processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards.

How long we keep information

For enquiries that do not become customer work, we normally retain correspondence for approximately one week after the last contact. If work proceeds, relevant information is retained for providing the service and meeting accounting, contractual or legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and any unresolved issue. Copies in provider logs or backups may remain until the provider’s retention cycle expires.

Anti-abuse records contain hashed identifiers and timestamps rather than message content. They are used only to protect the form, with expired records removed during subsequent submissions.

Cookies and external websites

The supplied website pages do not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts, and do not set cookies themselves. Fonts and images are hosted with the site. Hosting security services may operate separately. External links, including Google, Facebook, HKC and SSAIB, take you to services with their own privacy notices.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, ask for portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
